What should be done if the YSJ-B1 pressure transmitter shows an accuracy deviation? This article uses practical cases to provide a detailed analysis of the calibration methods for diffused silicon liquid and gas pressure sensors. As a professional instrument and meter manufacturer, we will share how to quickly diagnose and solve the accuracy issues of the YSJ-B1 pressure transmitter, helping operators improve equipment usage efficiency.
Diffused silicon pressure sensors use the semiconductor piezoresistive effect principle, converting pressure signals into electrical signal output through the Wheatstone bridge on the silicon chip. As a typical representative, the accuracy deviation of the YSJ-B1 pressure transmitter may come from: 1) zero drift caused by temperature changes; 2) sensor aging after long-term use; 3) the influence of field installation stress; 4) changes in medium characteristics. According to the requirements of the GB/T 15478-2015 standard, the accuracy grade of diffused silicon liquid and gas pressure sensors needs to be ensured through periodic calibration.
In a chlorine gas transmission pipeline at a chemical plant, the YSJ-B1 pressure transmitter showed a measurement error of ±1.2%FS for 3 consecutive months. Our technical team solved the problem through the following steps: first, using the domestic differential pressure transmitter ZEN302 diffused silicon integrated differential pressure transmitter as the reference device for comparative testing, confirming that the original transmitter had zero drift. Then, in accordance with the JJG 882-2019 regulation, a three-point calibration was carried out using a standard pressure source (0%,50%,100% range). It was specifically found that when the medium temperature exceeded 70℃, the temperature compensation coefficient needed to be adjusted. Finally, the accuracy was restored to Class 0.25 through recalibration.
For product series such as PM-PM320 and YSJ-B1, the standard calibration process should include:
It is recommended to carry out preventive calibration every 6 months, and for high-frequency equipment such as CX-203, it should be shortened to 3 months.
As a national high-tech enterprise, Xi'an Shenghongchuang Instrumentation Co., Ltd. has the following core advantages: 1) all S-10 pressure transmitters are tested by an ISO/IEC 17025 certified laboratory before leaving the factory; 2) full-range replacement solutions including the ZEN302 series are provided; 3) the technical support team has more than 10 years of service experience in the petrochemical and electric power industries. If you need to obtain the complete calibration manual for the YSJ-B1 pressure transmitter, please contact our engineering service center.
