As a key device in industrial automation control, the accuracy of the S-10 pressure transmitter directly affects system stability. This article explains in detail the calibration methods for diffused silicon liquid and gas pressure sensors, and shares 3 practical tips for improving the measurement accuracy of transmitters such as PM-PM320 and PD-PD50, helping operators extend the service life of equipment such as CX-203 and YSJ-B1, and ensuring that pressure transmitters such as VP-VP451 deliver optimal performance.
According to the GB/T 17614-2018 standard for transmitters used in industrial process control systems, calibration of the S-10 pressure transmitter requires a standard pressure source, a precision ammeter, and a 24VDC regulated power supply. During calibration, zero-point calibration (0% range point), full-scale calibration (100% range point), and intermediate point verification (usually 50% range) should be carried out in sequence, and the error should be controlled within ±0.075%FS. Special reminder: for high-temperature medium application scenarios such as the PT-A pressure transmitter, thermal compensation calibration needs to be performed at the operating temperature.
Technique 1: Ambient Temperature Compensation - When models such as VP-VP431 use diffused silicon chips with a temperature coefficient of 0.01%/℃, real-time correction is required through the built-in NTC thermistor in the supporting instrument. It is recommended to conduct multi-point temperature testing within the range of -20℃~+65℃ (the same operating temperature range as domestic LS-S05 weighing sensor), and write the compensation parameters into the EEPROM memory in the ZP-801 transmitter accessories.
Technique 2: Dynamic Response Optimization - For rapid pressure fluctuation scenarios such as the YXP-YXP5000 pressure transmitter, the damping time constant can be set to 0.1-1.6 seconds (default value 1.4 seconds). Combined with the 0.01%FS repeatability index of the PD-PD50 pressure transmitter, it can effectively suppress measurement fluctuations caused by pipeline pulsation.
Technique 3: Electrical Interference Protection - When the PM-PM320 pressure transmitter is installed in the same cabinet as a frequency converter, it should be connected using twisted shielded cable (AWG18 specification recommended), and the shielding layer must be single-point grounded at the supporting equipment end. Tests show that this measure can reduce sudden change errors caused by EMC interference by more than 90%.
For the common output drift problem of the CX-203 pressure transmitter, troubleshooting can be carried out according to the following steps:
