The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts: a sensor and a converter. It operates based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids with conductivity greater than 5μS/cm, making it an inductive instrument for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive media. In addition to measuring the volumetric flow of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volumetric flow of highly corrosive liquids such as strong acids and strong alkalis, as well as uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspensions such as slurry, ore pulp, and paper pulp. It is widely used for flow metering in industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, light textile, papermaking, environmental protection, and food, as well as in municipal management, water conservancy construction, and river dredging.
II.Working Principle
According to Faraday's principle of electromagnetic induction, a pair of detection electrodes is installed on the pipe wall perpendicular to the axis of the measuring tube and the magnetic field lines. When the conductive liquid moves along the axis of the measuring tube, the conductive liquid cuts the magnetic field lines and generates an induced electromotive force. This induced electromotive force is detected by the two electrodes, and its value is directly proportional to the flow rate. Its value is:

K-coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial length;
B-magnetic induction intensity;
V-average velocity of conductive liquid;
D-electrode spacing; (inner diameter of the measuring tube)
The sensor uses the induced electromotive force E as the flow signal and transmits it to the converter. After amplification, conversion, filtering, and a series of digital processing steps, the instantaneous flow rate and accumulated flow are displayed on a backlit dot-matrix LCD. The converter has 4~20mA output, alarm output, and frequency output, and is equipped with communication interfaces such as RS-485, and supports HART and MODBUS protocols.
III.Instrument Features

No moving parts or flow-blocking components inside the pipeline, resulting in almost no additional pressure loss during measurement;
The measuring range can be modified online on site according to actual user requirements;
The measurement result is independent of physical parameters such as flow distribution, fluid pressure, temperature, density, and viscosity;
High-clarity backlit LCD display, full Chinese menu operation, easy to use, simple to operate, and easy to learn and understand;
Equipped with digital communication signal outputs such as RS485, RS232, Hart, and Modbus; (optional)
With self-check and self-diagnosis functions;
Hourly totalization recording function, recording the total flow on an hourly basis, suitable for time-sharing metering systems (optional);
Internally equipped with three accumulators to separately display forward total, reverse total, and differential accumulated values, and with a non-power-loss clock inside that can record 16 power-off times. (optional);
Infrared handheld operator, 115KHZ communication rate, enabling remote non-contact operation of all converter functions (optional).
