The intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter consists of two parts: a sensor and a converter. It operates based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used to measure the volumetric flow of conductive liquids with conductivity greater than 5μS/cm. It is an inductive instrument for measuring the volumetric flow of conductive media. In addition to measuring the volumetric flow of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volumetric flow of highly corrosive liquids such as strong acids and strong alkalis, as well as uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspensions such as slurry, ore pulp, and paper pulp. It is widely used for flow measurement in petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, light textile, papermaking, environmental protection, food and other industrial sectors, as well as in municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging and other fields.
II. Working Principle
According to Faraday's electromagnetic induction principle, a pair of detecting electrodes is installed on the pipe wall perpendicular to the axis of the measuring tube and the magnetic field lines. When the conductive liquid moves along the axis of the measuring tube, the conductive liquid cuts the magnetic field lines and generates an induced electromotive force. This induced electromotive force is detected by the two detecting electrodes, and its value is directly proportional to the flow rate. Its value is:

E-induced electromotive force;
K-coefficient related to magnetic field distribution and axial length;
B-magnetic induction intensity;
V-average velocity of conductive liquid;
D-distance between electrodes; (inner diameter of the measuring tube)
The sensor uses the induced electromotive force E as the flow signal and transmits it to the converter. After amplification, conversion, filtering and a series of digital processing, the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative flow are displayed on a backlit dot-matrix LCD. The converter has 4~20mA output, alarm output and frequency output, and is equipped with communication interfaces such as RS-485, and supports HART and MODBUS protocols.
III. Instrument Features

No moving parts or flow-blocking parts inside the pipeline, resulting in almost no additional pressure loss during measurement;
The range can be modified online on site according to actual user requirements;
The measurement result is independent of physical parameters such as flow distribution, fluid pressure, temperature, density, and viscosity;
High-definition backlit LCD display, full Chinese menu operation, convenient to use, simple to operate, easy to learn and understand;
Equipped with digital communication signal outputs such as RS485, RS232, Hart and Modbus; (optional)
Features self-check and self-diagnostic functions;
Hourly total recording function, recording the total flow on an hourly basis, suitable for time-of-use metering systems (optional);
Internally equipped with three totalizers, which can separately display forward cumulative flow, reverse cumulative flow, and differential cumulative flow. It is internally equipped with a power-failure-proof clock and can record 16 power outage times. (optional);
Infrared handheld operator, 115KHZ communication rate, remote non-contact operation of all converter functions (optional).
