The chemical industry has extremely stringent requirements for the reliability of pressure monitoring equipment. Highly corrosive media, extreme temperature fluctuations, and continuous high-pressure environments cause the service life of ordinary transmitters to drop sharply. Through the PTB-certified silicone oil filling system from Germany, the operating temperature range is extended to -40℃~150℃. In comparative tests at the ethylene cracking unit of Qilu Petrochemical (140℃/5.2MPa), the temperature drift coefficient of MPM4891 was only 1/5 that of the ATE316 pressure transmitter, with an annual stability index better than 0.1%FS.
The built-in ASIC chip corrects the impact of ambient temperature in real time, and its algorithm is modeled based on 200,000 sets of experimental data. Compared with the PPM-T230B pressure transmitter, in the rapid alternating test from -20℃~80℃, output fluctuation was reduced from ±0.3%FS to ±0.05%FS.
The Ex d IIC T6 explosion-proof structure certified by both ATEX/IECEx allows quick replacement of the wiring chamber without affecting the measuring unit. A case study from a coal chemical project in Shaanxi shows that this design reduced maintenance time from 8 hours required by the PT-605 pressure transmitter to 1.5 hours.
