In the field of industrial flow monitoring,the correct installation of the ZY-CSB wall-mounted ultrasonic flow sensor directly affects measurement accuracy。This article focuses on common models such as MTPCL-5G、GD,revealing 3 installation misconceptions most easily overlooked by operators,helping you avoid typical problems such as sensor displacement、signal interference,and ensuring the long-term stable operation of equipment such as XJ-TDS-101P、CHB-TUF-2000H。
More than 67% of measurement errors originate from improper installation locations。Taking the ZY-CSB model as an example,the vertical distance between its transmitting probe and the pipeline must be strictly controlled within the range of 15-20cm,while common on-site mistakes include:installing the sensor downstream of an elbow or valve at less than 10 times the pipe diameter(should be ≥15 times the pipe diameter);ignoring areas where air bubbles accumulate inside the pipeline(top inclined installation at 15° is recommended);failing to consider the full-pipe flow condition in models such as SCL-83(minimum required flow velocity ≥0.3m/s)。It is worth noting that,the installation of Chinese-made capacitive pressure transmitter FD1151 absolute pressure sensor differential pressure transmitter also needs to avoid vibration sources,which is highly consistent with the installation specifications for ultrasonic sensors。
Digital sensors such as CHB-TUF-2000P are particularly sensitive to electromagnetic interference,but operators often make the following mistakes:not using shielded cables(double-layer braided mesh shielded wires must be selected);laying signal cables parallel to power cables(the minimum spacing should be kept at 30cm);ignoring grounding resistance requirements(grounding resistance must be ≤4Ω)。A practical case shows that,an XJ-TDS-101F sensor in a petrochemical enterprise experienced data jumps due to frequency converter interference,and by adopting the three-terminal isolation technology solution of the FD1151 series transmitter(independent isolation of signal/power supply/grounding),the measurement fluctuation was finally controlled within ±0.2%。
Factory calibration parameters of GD series sensors are often incorrectly overwritten,specifically manifested as:failure to perform static zero-point calibration(should be completed under no-flow conditions);ignoring temperature compensation settings(a 10℃ change in medium temperature can cause a 0.5% error);blindly adjusting the damping coefficient of CHB-TUF-2000H(the default value of 0.2s is applicable to 90% of operating conditions)。It is recommended to refer to the IEC 60041 standard and establish a three-dimensional calibration system including flow calibration、pressure testing(can be used together with Chinese-made capacitive pressure transmitter FD1151)、and temperature verification。
