As a key device for industrial flow control, the installation quality of the TS-TS202 pressure transmitter directly affects measurement accuracy and equipment service life. This article addresses the common installation pain points of diffused silicon Hirschmann pressure sensors and provides 7 practical tips to avoid installation errors, helping operators quickly master the correct installation method of the TS-TS202 transmitter and ensure stable equipment operation.
Before installing the TS-TS202 pressure transmitter, a comprehensive assessment of the working environment is required. First, confirm whether the medium temperature is within the range of -30~+85℃ to avoid exceeding the technical parameter limits of the domestic high-temperature pressure transmitter PO2088C diffused silicon 2088 pressure sensor. At the same time, check whether there is vibration or electromagnetic interference at the installation location, and it is recommended to choose an area away from pumps, valves, and frequency converters. For corrosive media, priority should be given to sensors made of 316 stainless steel, and ensure that the pressure connection threads (such as M20×1.5, G1/4, etc.) match the pipeline.
Threaded installation is the step most prone to leakage issues for diffused silicon Hirschmann pressure sensors. Installation should be carried out in three steps: first tighten the thread by hand until it can no longer turn, then apply an additional 1/4 turn of preload with a wrench (not exceeding 20N·m torque). Pay special attention that NPT threads require sealing with PTFE thread seal tape, while BSPP threads must be used with copper washers. When installing similar devices such as the YM-1 pressure transmitter, the sensor axis must be kept parallel to the direction of gravity to avoid lateral stress affecting measurement accuracy.
When the TS-TS202 uses a two-wire 4~20mA output, the positive power terminal (24VDC+) must be strictly distinguished from the signal wire. It is recommended to use shielded twisted pair cable, with the shield grounded at one end only to avoid ground loop interference. For models such as the TS-TS204 pressure transmitter with remote transmission signals, it is also necessary to check whether the RS485 wiring terminals use a daisy-chain topology. After all electrical connections are completed, a multimeter should be used to measure loop impedance to ensure the resistance value is within the range of 250-750Ω.
When measuring viscous or crystallizing media, it is recommended to add an isolation diaphragm based on the installation of the TS-TS201 pressure transmitter with alarm control. For high-temperature steam applications, a siphon tube should be installed to reduce the temperature to below 85℃. If the medium contains solid particles, a filter (mesh ≥60) should be installed before the pressure interface, and flushing maintenance should be carried out regularly according to the CEMPX-CEMPX215 pressure transmitter warranty terms.
The mounting bracket should be made of 304 stainless steel, and the fixing bolts must be fitted with anti-loosening washers. In vibration environments, it is recommended to use a shock-absorbing base specially designed for the TS-TS series. The cable entry must be tightened with a waterproof connector to achieve an IP65 protection rating. For outdoor installation, the electrical interface required by the NPT-NPT102 pressure transmitter manual must be equipped with a rain cover.
After completing the physical installation, verify according to the following steps: 1) slowly increase pressure to 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of full scale, and record the output current at each point; 2) compare with the standard values in the TS-TS202 pressure transmitter installation manual, and recalibrate if the error exceeds 0.5%FS; 3) perform 3 full-scale cycle tests to check repeatability error.
Check seal aging every month and calibrate zero drift every quarter. When storing spare parts, the pressure interface should be sealed and placed in a dry environment of -40~+90℃. When measuring corrosive media, it is recommended to replace the isolation diaphragm every six months, and a 316L stainless steel diaphragm assembly with the same process as the domestic high-temperature pressure transmitter PO2088C may be selected.
Correct installation can fully leverage the high stability (±0.1%FS/year) and fast response (≤5ms) advantages of diffused silicon Hirschmann pressure sensors.
