Under high-temperature and high-pressure operating conditions, the structural optimization of the PCM262 guided-wave level transmitter has become the key to reducing maintenance costs. This article provides an in-depth analysis of how the stainless steel cable-cylinder design, through material upgrades and sealing process improvements, enables YM-GWYW, DB101G1EE202Z and other series products to achieve a 50% reduction in maintenance costs in ultra-high-temperature water level measurement scenarios, providing a basis for model selection decisions for technical evaluators.
Traditional guided-wave level transmitters often face problems such as seal failure and material creep under high-temperature operating conditions. The improved model represented by PCM262 adopts a 316L stainless steel cable-cylinder structure and achieves performance breakthroughs through the following innovations: 1) double-layer bellows sealing technology, with temperature resistance up to 450℃ (in compliance with IEC 60751 Class A standards); 2) integrated welding process eliminates the risk of leakage at threaded interfaces; 3) built-in temperature compensation module reduces thermal drift error to ±0.1%FS. Note: the data is based on 5 years of tracking statistics from the desulfurization systems of thermal power plants, including comprehensive costs such as spare parts replacement and manual maintenance.
