Diffused silicon liquid and gas pressure sensors play a crucial role in industrial automation, but accurate measurement relies heavily on proper calibration. This article uses the DG1300-BZ-A-2-40 model as an example to explain the calibration process for diffused silicon sensors, covering maintenance points for CL-H, HT-316, and other series products. It also helps you master calibration techniques for models such as PMP131-C1A2L16, ensuring accurate and reliable pressure measurement data.
Diffused silicon pressure sensors are precision measuring devices designed based on the semiconductor piezoresistive effect. Their core component is a Wheatstone bridge on a silicon wafer. When pressure is applied to the sensitive diaphragm, the resistivity of the silicon material changes, and the bridge outputs a millivolt-level signal proportional to the pressure. Taking the DG1300-BZ-A-2-40 as an example, its measuring range covers 0-40 MPa, and it uses a 316L stainless steel diaphragm, making it compatible with corrosive media measurements.
1. Equipment Inspection : Confirm that the CL-H pressure transmitter is undamaged and that the cable connectors meet the IP65 protection rating. 2. Environmental requirements : Maintain a constant temperature of 23±5℃ and a relative humidity of ≤85%RH. 3. Standard equipment : Prepare a 0.05-grade standard pressure source and a 4½-digit digital multimeter. 4. Safety Protection : For HT-316 models with alarm control, the interlock protection must be disengaged first.
Step 1: Zero-point calibration Disconnect the pressure port and adjust the Zero potentiometer under normal pressure to output 4.000mA (or 1.000V) for the PBM4-13.B29R.A115.2663 model. If using the HDA4744-B-600-000 version with remote signal transmission, the MODBUS register value must be checked simultaneously.
Step 2: Full-scale calibration Apply a standard pressure of 40 MPa and adjust the Span potentiometer to a 20,000 mA output. Note that the PA-21R-16 model requires three cycles of pressurization to eliminate mechanical hysteresis.
1. HT-316 with alarm control : Before calibration, the upper and lower limits of the alarm threshold must be set according to the JPB-CNM instruction manual. 2. Customized DG1300-BZ-A-2-2.5/AA/SZWZH : Media compatibility code and sealing material need to be confirmed. 3. High-temperature type PMP131-C1A2L16 : Temperature compensation calibration is required at the rated temperature.
After calibration is completed, a calibration record should be filled out in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements, including: • Standard instrument serial number and validity period • Ambient temperature and humidity data • Deviation values at each test point (DG1300 series allows ±0.1%FS error) • Operator's signature and date
1. CNAS-accredited laboratory : Provides statutory calibration in accordance with JJG882-2019 standard. 2. Full model coverage : From the basic CL-H model to the customized PBM4-13.B38R.A115.2663 model. 3. On-site service : Supports online calibration in special locations such as explosion-proof areas. 4. Data Traceability : Provides a QR code electronic calibration certificate; authenticity can be verified by scanning the code with a mobile phone.
