The RD-LBYS wall-mounted ultrasonic flow sensor adopts the transit-time measurement principle,calculating flow velocity through the propagation time difference of ultrasonic waves in the fluid,and is suitable for non-contact flow monitoring of various media such as water,oil,and chemical solutions. Operators need to focus on three key steps:first,select a straight pipe section(10D upstream,5D downstream distance)to install the sensor bracket;second,use a dedicated coupling agent to ensure tight contact between the probe and the pipe wall;finally,enter pipe parameters(material,diameter,lining,etc.)through a handheld ultrasonic transmitter(such as the matching LCZ-803BW). During commissioning,it is recommended to perform zero-point calibration with reference to the ISO 6416 standard. If the signal strength is below 60%,check whether the probe spacing matches the pipe wall thickness.
Key parameters in the device menu include:fluid type selection(affecting sound velocity calculation),measurement unit switching(m³/h/L/min,etc.),and alarm threshold setting.
