When pressure transmitters such as PBLN-C,501-9000031 and other models show abnormal display,90% of faults originate from the core components of the diffused silicon sensor. The diffused silicon sensor works through the semiconductor piezoresistive effect, and its silicon diaphragm deforms under pressure, causing the resistance value to change and output an electrical signal. If the displayed value drifts, jumps or has no response,it is usually related to the following factors:medium crystallization blocking the isolation diaphragm, circuit board moisture causing short circuit, temperature compensation failure or power supply fluctuation exceeding the 12VDC allowable range.
For common models such as PT3100-10-I-U,PT124B-213,we have compiled high-frequency fault handling solutions:a continuously high displayed value may be caused by permanent diaphragm deformation due to sensor overload, and it is necessary to check whether the measuring range matches the actual pressure;if the 2091200PG-H2 model shows intermittent zero return,it is recommended to use a multimeter to test the stability of the 24V power supply;while the display fluctuation problem of MPM489(0-40MPa)E22B1C5S often requires recalibrating the zero point and checking the sealing performance of the O-ring. It should be noted that models dedicated to liquid media such as KGY-KGY50 should have their pressure guide holes cleaned every quarter to prevent crystallization buildup.
According to the GB/T 17614-2018 standard for transmitters used in industrial-process control systems, precision models such as PAA-21SC-80400.33 require mandatory calibration every year. The calibration process includes:adjusting the zero potentiometer under no-pressure conditions so that the output is 4mA;applying full-scale pressure and adjusting the span potentiometer to 20mA;repeating the linearity test three times. During routine maintenance,explosion-proof models such as YM-MHQ require special attention to regular application of silicone grease on the explosion-proof surface, while the 501-9400031 model used in the food industry must comply with 3A sanitary standard cleaning procedures.
It is recommended to equip each PBLN-C or KGY-KGY50 pressure transmitter with dedicated diagnostic tools:a Fluke 789 process multimeter for testing the 4-20mA loop current;a pressure calibration pump(covering 150% of the device measuring range);a HART communicator for viewing fault codes of intelligent models such as PT124B-213. When DYS101 and other Domestic Load Cell DYS101 Tension and Compression S-Type Stainless Steel Load Cell encounter similar problems, the voltage detection method in this guide can be referenced, and the stability of its alloy steel material in an environment of -20℃~+65℃ is comparable to that of diffused silicon sensors.
For models such as PT3100-10-I-U with accuracy requirements of 0.1% or higher,non-professional disassembly may cause irreversible damage. We provide an ISO/IEC 17025 certified calibration laboratory, equipped with professional equipment such as Rosemount 475 handheld communicators, which can restore precision sensors such as PAA-21SC to factory accuracy. All repair processes comply with the JJG 882-2019 pressure transmitter verification regulation, and a 6-month warranty commitment is provided. If your 501-9000031 sensor is diagnosed as requiring replacement of core components,we will provide original manufacturer accessories or alternative solutions with equivalent performance.
