As a key device in the field of industrial measurement, the accuracy of the MT-A pressure transmitter directly affects system stability. This article provides an in-depth analysis of the performance differences of diffused silicon sensors, compares the measurement performance of models such as CYB-23 and TS-802 in gas/liquid media, and helps engineers choose the high-accuracy transmitter solution best suited to their working conditions.
Diffused silicon pressure transmitters are based on the piezoresistive effect principle, converting pressure signals into electrical signals through the Wheatstone bridge structure on the silicon chip. Taking the MT-A pressure transmitter as an example, its core diffused silicon sensor is manufactured using semiconductor technology and features high sensitivity and fast response. According to the IEC 60770 standard, accuracy is usually expressed as a percentage of full scale (%FS), including comprehensive indicators such as linearity, hysteresis, and repeatability. The MT-A series products manufactured by Xi'an Shenghongchuang Instrumentation Co., Ltd. can achieve a typical accuracy of ±0.1%FS under working conditions of -20℃~85℃, which is superior to the common industry standard of ±0.25%FS.
In practical applications, temperature fluctuations, mechanical vibration, and medium characteristics are the three main factors affecting the accuracy of the MT-A pressure transmitter. Diffused silicon sensors improve stability through the following technologies: 1) a built-in temperature compensation chip, with temperature drift controlled within ±0.001%FS/℃; 2) adoption of the same-source DSP digital signal processing technology as the domestic displacement sensor MTM magnetostrictive displacement sensor, effectively suppressing interference; 3) the sensor surface is coated with a special Teflon protective layer, enabling resistance to corrosive media with pH2~11. Laboratory data from Xi'an Shenghongchuang show that after a 72-hour aging test, the zero-point drift of the MT-A is less than 0.05%FS.
For high-pressure reactor monitoring in the petrochemical industry, it is recommended to choose the 100MPa range version of the MT-A pressure transmitter, whose 64MPa pressure-resistant design far exceeds the 35MPa limit of the standard CYB-28 model. In the food and pharmaceutical fields, however, the TS-802 is more favored for its hygienic-grade 316L stainless steel wetted parts. A large water treatment project adopted the QYB-QYB101 pressure transmitter combined with a diffused silicon sensor, achieving long-term stability of ±0.2%FS and tripling service life compared with traditional capacitive sensors.
As a national high-tech enterprise, we have a complete diffused silicon sensor production line and a CNAS-certified laboratory, providing full-chain solutions from the SNYB-SNYB810 pressure transmitter to supporting equipment.
