The diffused silicon sensing technology used in the KYB-C3 pressure transmitter occupies an important position in industrial measurement due to its unique piezoresistive effect. For different medium characteristics,three parameters must be重点 considered for diffused silicon sensors:medium compatibility(refer to ASTM G31 standard),long-term stability(annual drift<±0.1%FS)and dynamic response speed(rise time of model P-P972≤5ms). For example,in compressed air systems,it is necessary to select the domestic industrial 2088 pressure transmitter PO2088A industrial explosion-proof pressure sensor with a GL/4 male threaded connection,whose 304 stainless steel housing can effectively resist condensate corrosion.

In terms of connections,M20×1.5 thread is a commonly used specification under the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED),while projects using American standards mostly require NPT threaded connections.
There are cases in the market where ceramic sensors are passed off as diffused silicon products,and authenticity can be identified through three tests:first,check whether the product nameplate contains the complete model number(such as P-P972-1A representing the version with LCD display);second,use a multimeter to measure the zero output,which should be 4.00±0.02mA;finally,perform a step pressure test,and the response curve of the diffused silicon sensor should show typical second-order system characteristics. For constant-pressure water supply in building automation systems,model P-P761 with a range of 0~1.6MPa is recommended,and its IP67 protection rating can adapt to humid environments.
