The rigid rod insertion level transmitter (such as models HD502, DBS502, and LC-502) is an industrial-grade sensor based on the hydrostatic measurement principle. By directly contacting the medium through a stainless steel probe rod, it converts liquid level height into a 4-20mA standard signal output.
