FB-X Pressure Transmitter Customization Must-Read: 5 Key Parameters for Non-Standard Customization of Diffused Silicon Housman Sensors
Added to Favorites:125

During the customization process of the FB-X pressure transmitter, the 5 key parameters of the diffused silicon Haisman sensor directly affect measurement accuracy and stability. As the core component of flow control equipment, the selection and calibration of models such as PT-709 and Y-881 are related to the performance of the entire system. Xi'an Shenghongchuang Instrument Co., Ltd. analyzes the key points of non-standard customization for you to help you accurately match application requirements.

1. Measurement Range and Span Selection

The measurement range of the diffused silicon Haisman pressure sensor is the primary parameter to consider during customization. The range of the FB-X series transmitter needs to be determined according to the actual pressure fluctuation range of the operating condition. It is generally recommended to select a working pressure within 60%-80% of the range, which can ensure accuracy while avoiding overload risks. For example, under the 10MPa range of the PT-309-10 model, the nonlinearity error can be controlled within ±0.1%FS.

For special application scenarios such as pressure monitoring of chemical pipelines, it is necessary to consider that peak pressure may reach 1.5 times the rated value. In this case, you may refer to the selection solution of the P-A1016 pressure transmitter and adopt a sensor core with an overpressure protection structure. It is worth noting that the range selection also needs to match the back-end display instrument. For example, the intelligent digital display meter used with the MBS3050 transmitter needs to recalibrate the input signal range.

2. Output Signal Types and Interfaces

Haisman sensors support multiple output methods such as 4-20mA, 0-10V, and RS485. During FB-X customization, it is necessary to clarify:

  • For long-distance transmission in industrial sites, 4-20mA current signals are preferred first(strong anti-interference capability)
  • The HART protocol provided by the P-A1012 model enables digital commissioning
  • The MODBUS-RTU interface equipped in the Vegabar17 series is suitable for networking applications

The form of the electrical interface is equally critical. The standard configuration of PT-709 is an M12×1 aviation plug, while in explosion-proof occasions it should be changed to armored cable direct lead-out. If the system integrates weighing functions, you may consider a 6-core interface design compatible with the domestic weighing sensor DYLY-104, whose stainless steel material can adapt to harsh environments of -20℃~+65℃.

3. Accuracy Grade and Temperature Compensation

The accuracy of diffused silicon sensors is comprehensively evaluated by three indicators: basic error, hysteresis, and repeatability. The 0.075% accuracy marked in the Y-881 pressure transmitter manual must be achieved at the standard temperature of 23±5℃. In practical applications, attention should be paid to:

Temperature influence parametersTypical ValueSolutions
Zero temperature drift±0.03%/10KBuilt-in NTC thermistor compensation
Sensitivity temperature coefficient±0.02%/10KLaser-trimmed thick-film resistor network

For high-temperature applications of PT-309-16, it is recommended to select a dual-compensation chip, which can extend the operating temperature range to -40℃~125℃. This is similar to the principle of full-bridge temperature compensation technology used in the DYLY-104 weighing sensor, both improving stability through material selection and circuit design.

4. Media Compatibility and Sealing Structure

The material of the isolation diaphragm in contact with the measured medium directly affects the service life of the sensor:

  • Ordinary hydraulic oil: 316L stainless steel diaphragm(standard configuration of P-A1018)
  • Corrosive media: Hastelloy C276 or tantalum diaphragm
  • Food and pharmaceutical: FDA-certified fluororubber sealing ring

During FB-X customization, a medium composition list needs to be provided, especially for fluids containing solid particles, where the concentration should be specified. For high-viscosity media, the conical threaded interface recommended in the PT-309-10 installation instructions can prevent crystallization blockage. In occasions with high hygiene requirements such as grain and oil processing, the IP68 fully sealed structural design of the DYLY-104 can be used for reference.

5. Process Connection and Mechanical Installation

The process connection method of Haisman sensors must match the existing pipeline standards:

  1. Threaded connections such as G1/2" and 1/4"NPT(applicable to PT-709 compact transmitters)
  2. DN25/DN50 flange connection(commonly used in chemical processes)
  3. Hygienic clamp connection(preferred for the food industry)

The working principle of the MBS3050 pressure transmitter emphasizes that vibration environments require the installation of shock-absorbing brackets, and the installation torque should be limited to within 20N·m. For force value measurement in lifting applications, you may refer to the S-type structure of the domestic weighing sensor DYLY-104, whose bidirectional load-bearing characteristics are more suitable for dynamic force monitoring.
