In industrial automation systems,the selection of pressure transmitters is directly related to the accuracy and reliability of the entire measurement chain。As the core sensing element,diffused silicon technology has become the preferred solution for mainstream models such as the DY-X series,PTX-PTX1200,and CYB-43 due to its excellent stability and sensitivity。Starting from actual application scenarios,this article systematically analyzes the selection logic of diffused silicon liquid and gas pressure sensors,helping operators avoid common problems such as PMP-PMP317 installation errors and PTX-PTX7535 purchasing traps。

The nominal range of the DY-X pressure transmitter should be controlled within 1.5-2 times the normal operating pressure。For example,when measuring a 0-1MPa steam system,selecting the 0-1.6MPa range version of PTX-PTX1240(model suffix 16B)not only retains a 10% overload margin,but also achieves a nominal accuracy of 0.075%。Special attention should be paid to the fact that some users choose an excessively small range in pursuit of high accuracy,such as using a 0-600kPa sensor to measure a 500kPa medium,which in practice causes the sensor to remain near full-scale operation for a long time and accelerates aging。
The parts of a diffused silicon sensor in contact with the medium mainly include the isolation diaphragm and filling fluid。For highly oxidizing media such as chlorine gas,the SDD-XNSDD604 model uses gold-plated diaphragm technology to effectively prevent corrosion;when measuring viscous liquids,the flush diaphragm design of PTX-PTX7535 can avoid scaling and clogging。It is recommended to confirm compatibility through the following checklist:
• Whether the medium PH value is within the tolerance range of the diaphragm material(for example,316L stainless steel is suitable for PH2-11)
• Whether the operating temperature exceeds the boiling point of the filling fluid(the typical limit of silicone oil is 150℃)
• Whether there is a risk of crystallization(the CYB-43 model with self-cleaning function can be selected)
There are a large number of counterfeit PTX series pressure transmitters on the market。Inferior products often use industrial silicon instead of monocrystalline silicon,resulting in temperature drift exceeding specifications。Formal channels can be identified through the following methods:
1)Official Authorization Verification:The housing laser marking of genuine PTX-PTX7535 contains a 12-digit anti-counterfeiting code,which can be verified through the manufacturer’s official website;
2)Performance Testing:At an ambient temperature of 25℃,apply 50% range pressure to PMP-PMP317,and its output signal fluctuation should not exceed 0.02mA;
3)Material Analysis:Use a portable spectrometer to test the diaphragm material of NS-P424。316L stainless steel should contain 2-3% molybdenum。
For bulk purchasing projects,it is recommended to require suppliers to provide third-party test reports,with particular focus on two indicators:first,the accuracy curve across the full temperature range of -40℃~125℃;second,stability data after 100,000 pressure cycles。Formal manufacturers,such as PTX series manufacturers,usually provide selection manuals containing measured data。
