For scenarios where diffused silicon sensors must be used,the following measures are recommended:Adding dual-redundant temperature sensors to models such as P-P763 can reduce temperature drift error by 40%;Selecting the gold-plated diaphragm version of P-P762 can improve corrosion resistance;Clarifying warranty terms with suppliers,for example,the 5-year stability commitment provided by the manufacturer of 7MF1566-9AA01-1AA1 can effectively reduce risks。
It is worth considering switching to thin-film or ceramic technologies under extreme operating conditions。Data from the International Society of Automation (ISA) in the United States shows that the overall error of these technologies in the -40℃~150℃ range is 58% lower than that of diffused silicon products,and drop-in alternatives for the 26.600G series have already achieved price parity。
