The CHB-TUF-2000H handheld ultrasonic transmitter is a new-generation flow measurement device launched by Xi'an Shenghongchuang Instrument Co., Ltd.,designed specifically for rapid on-site inspection. This guide will help operators master the basic operation of the device within 3 minutes,and is suitable for inspection work on various models of wall-mounted ultrasonic flow sensors such as MTPCL-5G,GD series and XJ-TDS-101.
The CHB-TUF-2000H adopts the ultrasonic transit-time measurement principle,accurately calculating the liquid flow rate in the pipeline by calculating the time difference between downstream and upstream propagation of ultrasonic waves in the fluid. Its core advantage lies in non-contact measurement,which avoids equipment wear problems caused by medium corrosion or impurities in traditional mechanical flowmeters. As a flagship product of Xi'an Shenghongchuang Instrument Co., Ltd.,this device complies with the ISO 6416 international standard,with measurement accuracy up to ±1%,making it especially suitable for flow monitoring in harsh industrial scenarios such as chemical engineering and metallurgy.
Step 1: Equipment Installation Install the sensors on both sides of the pipeline using the V method or Z method (the V method is recommended for pipe diameters ≤300mm),and ensure that sufficient coupling agent is applied. When fixing via the M20*1.5 threaded interface on the body,make sure it remains parallel to the pipeline axis,and the installation angle deviation should be controlled within ±3°.
Step 2: Parameter Setting After powering on,enter the menu interface and sequentially input the pipe material (supports 8 presets including carbon steel and stainless steel),wall thickness (adjustable from 0.5-50mm),and medium type (compatible with water,oil,acid and alkali solutions,etc.). For special models such as XJ-TDS-101H,an additional sound velocity compensation coefficient needs to be set.
Step 3: Signal CommissioningObserve the signal strength indicator bar on the screen (the ideal value should be ≥70%). If the signal is weak,try adjusting the sensor spacing or reapplying the coupling agent. The device supports 4-20mA/0-10V dual-mode output and can be connected to a DCS system through a Hirschmann connector.
Compared with traditional models such as SCL-83,the outstanding advantage of the CHB-TUF-2000H lies in its wide operating temperature range of -20℃~85℃,making it especially suitable for outdoor operations in northern winters. For scenarios requiring higher accuracy,CHB-TUF-2000P (accuracy ±0.5%) is recommended,while CHB-TUF-2000S (accuracy ±1.5%) can meet the requirements for routine inspection. It is worth noting that when measuring corrosive media,it can be used together with the domestic general-purpose pressure transmitter YP4031 water pressure oil pressure air pressure sensor for combined monitoring. This product uses 316L stainless steel material and can effectively resist acid and alkali corrosion.
