Diffused silicon pressure sensors convert pressure signals through the semiconductor piezoresistive effect, and deformation of the core silicon diaphragm causes changes in resistance value. When transmitters such as BP-IF and PT124B-219 use this technology, regular calibration is required to ensure the high accuracy of 0.1%FS.
